Registration is free for Buyers and Sellers.
Does WholesaleNet receive commissions on any sales?
No, WholesaleNet's revenue comes exclusively from URL registrations, Web hosting, Seller presentations and Marketing.
How will buyers find me?
Buyers perform a search on the database to find sellers linked to the products they want to buy. All of your products are directly linked to your company listing, so if you list 1000 products, you can be found by 1000 different searches. You can also be found via company name search or geographical location.
Can I register as a seller and a buyer?
Yes. The registrations are separate you can register first as a seller and create your selling product catalogue, then register as a buyer using the same company name and adding the word purchasing at the end e g (ABC LTD Purchasing) then create the list of products you have an interest in purchasing.
How can I select a presentation option?
Click on "SELLER PRESENTATION OPTIONS" link on the "Home" page to view the presentation options and cost. To select and pay for a presentation option, login then click "Payments" in the sub-menu of the Home page.
What is an Interactive Image?
An "Interactive Image" is an image that allows customers to interact with the image in order to view explicit detail of the product. It also caters for multiple angled viewing (multiple images).
Who will view seller's details?
Your company contact details will be viewed by buyers who search the database to find sellers of the products they wish to buy. (Your personal contact details, including email addresses are kept hidden for spam prevention purposes).
Who will view buyer's details?
Buyer details are not accessible to anyone. To maintain your privacy, sellers cannot forward offers directly to you. You can opt to receive periodic special discounted offers for specified products directly from WholesaleNet, sent to us by sellers.
How can I register?
To register as a seller, click "Seller registration" or to register as a buyer click on "Buyer registration" in the sub-menu of the home page or under the Login box.
What is "Main Company Activity"?
A short description about your company, including a brief marketing statement.
What if I only have a PO Box address?
If you are unable to supply physical address details, in the required fields simply type N/A. You will be able to change or amend your contact details at your convenience.
Why do buyers have to register products?
Buyers create a list of products that they may be interested in buying to allow WholesaleNet to forward to them special discounted offers from sellers. Buyers have the option to select whenever they would like to receive these special offers.
Why must I search your database when registering my products?
To avoid double entering of the same products under different names, we use a genetically named product database. Members link their company to the existing data of over 60,000 products and categories and then use their presentation page to input details and brand names of their products allowing them to differentiate.
What is the quickest way to search for products to add to my listing?
It is best to search the whole product database to find the products you want to link as products may be listed in more than one category. For a faster search, select the major category your product would be found under.
When registering, can I search for more than one product at a time?
If a search is performed with one key word it is possible to link more than one product to your
presentation provided that the products contain the same word in the descriptions.
How can I add products to my listing?
Perform the search click to highlight the product you wish to add to your presentation, hold down [Ctrl] in your keyboard to highlight more than one product. Click "Add Highlited Products to your List" to add the products to your listing.
What if my products are not listed in your database?
If you think that a product is not listed in the database, click on the link provided on the registration page to notify us, we then will add the product to the database.
What can I do after I have finished adding my products?
After you have completed your product listing you may click "Next" to view your presentation. Here, you are able to add your company logo to your presentation, add product descriptions and images by clicking individual products (available for Option 2 Presenation only).
Can buyers view their presentation page?
No, Buyers contact details and product listing are not displayed in a presentation, if you wish to check or change any contact details or products in your listing click "Your Admin Console" in the main menu.
Why do the products have allocated numbers and not my own product numbers? The numbers associated with the products are database directory numbers and are used for identification purposes within the database. You can add your own product numbers and images on the product description pages.
Can I replace your product number with my product/catalogue number?
No, you can input your own product numbers only if you select an option 2 Advance presentation and option 3 Premium presentation or within the account keeping module.
Why doesn't my web address appear?
Your web address will not appear in your presentation until your payment is confirmed.
How can I change my product list?
Login and click on "Update product listing" in the "Member profile" page.
How can I make changes to my registration details?
After logging in, you will land on the member profile page where you can administer all necessary changes for contact details, products and administer your message receiving preferences and view your presentation statistics.
What happens if I forget my Login name or Password?
If you forgot your Login name, you can email us at wsnsupport giagroup.com stating your company name, and your personal details. Your Login name will then be forwarded the email address specified in your registration. For a forgotten password, click the "Forgot your password?" link to access your reminder question, answer the question correctly and your password will then be forwarded to your email address.
How can I change my login name?
Your Login Name is a unique field, therefore cannot be changed.
How can I change my password?
To change your password, go to the "Member Profile" page (the page viewed after login) or select "Your Admin Console" in the main menu.
How can I add my company logo?
You must be registered with Option2 or above and have your company logo in .gif or .jpg format in your computer. Click "Browse" on your presentation page select the logo file on your computer system then click "Open". The file path should appear in the "Input your company logo" box, then click "Save" to submit your logo to your presentation. The image cannot be larger than 25kb.
What is .gif and .jpg format and how can I check if my logo or product image is .gif or .jpg format and its size? .gif (GIF) or .jpg (JPEG) format images are service marks used for a raster-based colour graphics file formats. To check if your logo/image is in .gif or .jpg format and size, right click on the image and select properties to check the format your file is saved as.

How can I make my product image less than 25kb?
You need an image compression tool to compress a larger image to 25kb.
Download the program from www.pictools.com the direct link is ftp://www.pictools.com/pub/jpgwizard/JPGWIZ.EXE Once you have the program open, click the "Open Image File" icon in the top left corner. Select the file from your hard drive containing the images you wish to compress. Then, select the image and click open. The image appears with a dial beneath it. Click on the minus (-) symbol until the output (shown below) is below 25,000. Lastly, click "Save Image File" the second icon in the top left corner, rename the file and click save to retain the resized image in your computer.
How can I add my product details and pictures?
Click on product name and enter your description and image. Adding product images is done in the same way as adding your logo. These images cannot be larger than 25kb.
What can I do if I added the wrong image to my logo or to a product?
You can change the image by uploading a new image on the same position
How can I add an interactive image?
You cannot add interactive images yourself they must be forwarded to us where we can upload them to the database. Instructions on how to forward images to be uploaded are available on the page where the regular images are uploaded.
What if my prices are by quote only?
The price field is optional, however, you can select for prices to be visible only through the account keeping module where you can specify discount offers per individual account
How many images can I upload per product?
Only one image can be uploaded per product, this image cannot be larger than 25KB.
How can I show images of my product variations?
You can display more than one product variation in one standard image. Alternatively, an interactive image can present and display more than one product variations per image and present multiple images.
How many product variations can I add per product?
There is no limit to product variations. Each product must have its own product number.
What does the field "Your Product Number" mean?
You must enter your own SKU (stock keeping unit) number or the manufacturer's part/product number.
What does the field "Tax %" mean?
Enter the tax percentage applicable to the product. This is necessary when creating an invoice in the Accounts function.
What does the field "Tax Description" mean?
It describes the kind (name) of the tax charged on this product eg GST, VAT or Import tax.
What does the field "Show Price to Public" mean?
You have the option to allow the price to be viewed by the public or be visible to your account clients only.
What does the field "List/Delist" mean?
Select "Delist" for the product not to be visible to the public on your product list. Delisted products will only appear in your "Manage your product" function indicating "Delist". You can change the "List/Delist" option at any time.
How can I delete a product from my listing?
Login and click on "Update your product listing" on the "Member Profile" page. Under the "Remove" column tick the box of the product you want to remove and then click the "Remove" button. Please note: All product details and variations under that product will be deleted. You cannot delete a single product's detail or variation. Use the "Delist" option for product details you do not want visible on your listing.
How can I change product details?
Click "Update Your Product Listing" under "Your Admin Console". Click "View your current presentation" and then click on the product's name you wish to alter the details. Select the product variation you wish to alter and click "Edit".
